About: The Immigration Detention in Hong Kong Project is a 3-year research project at the Faculty of Law, Chinese University of Hong Kong to evaluate the immigration detention system in Hong Kong in relation to vulnerable migrants. It is the first research project about immigration detention in Hong Kong. They aim to generate policy-oriented analysis that can
help to improve the system and protect the rights and welfare of detainees and their families.
